Chicken A La Carte by Ferdinand Dimadura

I watched Chicken A La Carte by Ferdinand Dimadura with mixed feelings. It was sad to see a lot of children in the world, not only in the Philippines, that are going hungry everyday. I had been through a period in my life where I survived on one meal a day. However, I am grateful for that one meal a day. It taught me not to take food for granted and also not to waste any. The feeling of hunger is not pleasant for an adult like me and fortunately as an adult I was able to control my urge too. But for children ... what do they feel?

On the other hand, I feel hope and inspire as I believe there are a lot of guys out there who are doing what the man in the short film was doing; bringing foods to these hungry children. The smiles on their faces were simply priceless.

Are there something which each of us can do? I believe we can start from around us ... step by step.
